Workshop Details:

- Time: 3 PM - 7 PM (sunset 7:12)

- Cost: $45+Tax

Join us for ‘A Day At The Beach’ on June 6! This one-day workshop runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, giving us three hours of dedicated shooting time. Our models will be styled in a variety of summer looks, including sundresses, sarongs, and bikinis. It’s a fantastic opportunity to practice your craft in a dynamic outdoor setting, culminating in the stunning light of a Hawaii sunset. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates!​

 

We'll start with a short orientation, and I’ll have the models share their perspectives. We'll go over what’s expected of them, etiquette for both photographers & models, proper use of verbiage, how they would like to be spoken to with respect, and giving direction. Even if they’re an experienced model, they want direction. I’ll also be there to assist anyone with technical questions about lighting & settings, how to shoot in natural light & with flash as a fill light.

 

You'll have the opportunity to use your create your own images with your camera, or you can shadow me & shoot with natural light or flash. I will be utilizing the Godox AD200 along with an X3 trigger during golden hour. If you have your own trigger, feel free to bring it and connect to my flash. I also have a limited number of Godox flash triggers available for you to borrow. 

 

This workshop is limited to 15 participants. I do pay the models I hire for all my workshops. With 3-4 models for this workshop, I unfortunately have to raise the pricing a bit to cover the cost of paying multiple models & acquiring the proper permits.

 

RECOMMENDED Portrait Lens, f/2.8 or faster, but not necessary.
