Saturday there was a location I've been wanting to shoot the Milky Way from & fortunately I got up on time! I did decide earlier in the week that I wanted to get a different look & to use my 8mm Rokinon fisheye. When I got to location around 3:30am I was surprised how big the surf was! It was about a 200 yd trek in to get to where I wanted to be, so I kept a keen eye & ears open for the incoming surf. Once there I found a nice dry perch up on the rocks to stay out of the raging surf. Really didn't want to get wet so early in the morning!
This was the 1st time playing with the Rokinon fisheye lens & I was having some fun with it as I flashed my Lumecube to illuminate the nearby cliff edge. Thankfully there was no one around for my light painting to screwup their shot. I think I retook this shot over 15 times until everything was just right.
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
