Ventured out t the eastside on Saturday, I pulled into the parking lot & stepped out of the car & was welcomed by 18-20mph cold onshore winds. I knew that I'd have issues with the salt spray, that was a given! Then came the rain! Despite the wind & rain, we moved towards the shoreline to find our spot.
I tried to position myself with a composition that was away from the splashing waves to minimize the salt spray & it worked to a certain extent. The spray was so bad that I was wiping my front filter just about every 10 seconds, even during the long exposure. That technique worked out very well without causing any blurring. I found this composition with this S-curve leading to the sun, sometimes you get lucky!
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
