Returned to Pounders on Sunday, praying that the high tide didn't wash away the driftwood. As I walked to the same location on the beach, I saw it still embedded into the sand! I saw how much the high tide had covered most of the driftwood. A little disappointed, I hoped that I could make a decent composition. The colors in the sky was just starting to glow as the seascape had a pastel look to it. The surrounding foreground was still very dark as I need to use only the 3stop hard reverse grad to bring down the brightly lit horizon & sky, while doing a 2 minute exposure.
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
