Coming into Saturday morning as I drove down to Magic Island, I knew what I wanted to shoot. I did this about 3 years ago & I was due for an updated image. As we settled into our spots I looked thru the LCD on the camera & & did a practice run of a panorama of this shot, sweeping from right to left. Took a test shot to nail the exposure I then started to click away, 6 shots at 30 second each shot. I was a little weary about how it would come out but when I dropped all my images into Lightroom & proceed to stitch the images together I was pleasantly surprised with the final picture! I had to do some content aware filling just around the edges of the frame. It needed something extra as I thought that the sky was a little bit barren. I opened up an old Milky Way shot I took & blended it into the sky. To frame it better I lightened up the bottom & boosted the saturation on the green bushes. I also had to cleanup all the rubbish & broken branched on both lower corners, that was a bit of a pain!
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
