Ventured back to Sandy Beach on the east side of Oahu, It took a while to get out to this spot rock hopping. I found my spot & composition, got my Sony A7S II ready pressed the shutter release...nothing happened!? No focus lock beep, no picture?! Massive panic attack was about to happen as the skies lit up with the golden light. Turned the camera off then on again, still nothing. I manually held the shutter on the camera down & it took a picture, A big sigh of relief that the camera was still working, so it had to be the shutter release. Unplugged it then plugged it back in several times, then finally it kicked in! By that time my shorts was soaked because I wasn't paying attention to the waves as I was trying to trouble shoot the shutter release. At least I was able to grab a few decent shots & salvage the mornings sunrise!
