Everything I've shot in the past, style wise, has been in flux for the past 3 weeks, in fact I'm not sure who I am right now, photographically speaking. My eye for capturing a seascape image is changing, in my opinion for the better...I hope! I feel very lost right now creatively, not confidently knowing what I want to capture, is a bit unnerving. I'm not totally clueless & I have an idea of what & how I want to capture the water & clouds but now I'm actually thinking about the composition, & how the water is flowing through the scene. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I'm slowing down. I'm also producing more black & white images as I'm falling in love with all the slight variance between the tones in a b/w image. It's exciting, scary & most of all frustrating! I know I'm missing a lot of shots, but there's always tomorrow to try again. I shoot & process my images to sooth my soul, nobody else. It may be selfish but it keeps me sane!
I'm definitely not burning out, in fact I can't wait to shoot the next sunrise!
