This was a huge beaten & weathered tree that was half buried into the sand, I was immediately drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I spent the entire morning trying to get the best angle for a good composition. The tide was on an upward swing & I had to be very careful not to be in a position where the crashing waves that pounded itself onto the trunk of the tree wouldn't splash over me. Plus the fact that it was a borrowed lens from a friend of mine & didn't want to return it soaked with sea water!
Aloha a hui hou my friends!
